Who should consider switching
You may want an alternative if:
- you need branding or export, but not a yearly fee;
- you do not use Blinq's AI Notetaker or enrichment;
- per-lead charges make your costs hard to predict; or
- you would rather pay once for a full profile.
If you rely on Blinq's AI tools, wallet and watch sharing, or event badge kits, Blinq may still suit you better.
What Blinq does well
- A real free plan. Blinq Free includes two cards, unlimited sharing by QR code, widget, email and SMS, Apple and Google Wallet, an email signature and virtual backgrounds.
- Many ways to share. Blinq supports wallet passes, phone widgets and Apple Watch.
- AI tools. Its AI Notetaker records conversations and writes summaries. Pro adds unlimited contact enrichment and full notetaker history.
- A universal contact scanner on Premium, for business cards, event badges, QR codes and LinkedIn QR codes.
- Team features on Business. Admin-controlled email signatures, card templates and brand control, automated provisioning, a company contact book and lead capture.
- No app for the other person. Blinq says recipients do not need the Blinq app.
Where Blinq costs more or needs more
- Paid plans renew. Premium costs $9.99 a month, or $87.99 a year. Pro costs $22.49 a month, or $199 a year.
- Branding and export are paid. Custom colours, removing Blinq branding, a branded QR code and CSV export start on Premium.
- Business is per card. It starts at $4.99 per card per month billed annually, or $6.99 billed monthly, with a minimum of five cards.
- Lead capture is charged per lead. Blinq lists $9.99 per lead captured and enriched, billed monthly.
- Hardware is extra. Blinq sells NFC business cards separately.

A worked example
Take an estate agent who has used Blinq Free for a year. She now wants her agency's colours on her card and wants to export the contacts she has collected.
Both features start on Blinq Premium, at $87.99 a year, or $263.97 over three years. Here, Brand Presence includes templates and analytics for $72 once. Business Add-ons adds export, contact leads and a built-in CRM for $120 once.
If she relied on the AI Notetaker after every viewing, Blinq would keep a feature we do not offer.
Premium or Pro: which Blinq plan would you compare?
Most individuals who outgrow Blinq Free look at Premium. It adds up to five cards, the universal contact scanner, a branded QR code, custom colours and CSV export.
Pro adds unlimited AI contact enrichment, full AI Notetaker history and audio playback. If those AI tools are why you use Blinq, compare Pro at $199 a year with what you would lose by switching. If they are not, Premium is the fairer comparison, and a one-time card covers most of what it adds.
What you keep and what you lose
You keep a live profile at a permanent link, a QR code, a save-contact button, analytics and unlimited edits.
You lose Blinq's AI Notetaker and enrichment, wallet, widget and Apple Watch sharing, up to five cards on one account, and its team signature tools.

Blinq's pricing page did not say whether edits are limited on any plan, so we have not claimed either way. We have not assumed how many leads a team captures, so the team total above leaves out per-lead charges.

- Export your contacts. Blinq Premium includes CSV export. Do this before you change your plan.
- Copy what is on your Blinq card. Details, links, photos and documents.

- Update your email signature, social bios and any printed QR codes.
- Cancel at the end of your billing period, once everything points to the new profile.
